Erma Bombeck, humourist who eloquently wrote about suburban life during the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s famously said, “If life is a bowl of cherries, what am I doing in the pits?”
Erma also wrote, “There is a thin line that separates laughter and pain, comedy and tragedy, humor and hurt.” These days that seems truer than ever. This weekend I’ll focus on teetering towards the humour, laughter, comedy end of that spectrum and will sit firmly in the hope that where I focus is where I land.
Hoping for a weekend of laughter for you too. It is, after all, the best medicine.
