I’m taking Act 3 Unscripted on the road; more precisely, into the air then onto the train then onto the streets.
Of Paris.

It will be a big change from my usual musings about deer or the birds who wake me in the mornings. By this time tomorrow, I’ll be in the City of Lights, hopefully enjoying a baguette and some cheese at a bistro. I expect I’ll be imagining what the next ten glorious days on the road will bring.
The trip starts with a few action-packed days with my partner, John. We have a day-trip to Champagne planned and reservations at our favourite restaurants set. After that, I have a few more days on my own when I will follow in Hemingway’s footsteps, look for writing inspiration, and, naturally, drink wine.
Then, I’m back in Ontario for a whirlwind, four-day visit with family and friends. That’s 15 days in total with three of them spent travelling. I don’t mind saying I’m giddy at thought of being able to venture outside of Canada again.
My posting schedule while on the road will most certainly be thrown for a loop. I will endeavour to post at least a couple of times a week through my jet-lagged, cheese-coma-induced haze. As for now, we are packed and the bags await transfer to the car. And we await the start of the latest adventure.
Talk to you soon from the other side of the pond.
